Dr.Majed alāAnsari, spokesperson for Qatarās Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Advisor to the Prime Minister of Qatar, dismissed reports alleging that Qatar had āofferedā Iran a financial payment to secure an agreement to end the war.
AlāAnsari said such claims were being spread by āparties attempting to sabotage the deal and undermine ongoing diplomatic efforts toward regional deāescalation and stability.ā He stressed that the narratives were false and aimed at tarnishing Qatarās reputation as a trusted international peace facilitator.
The remarks come amid sensitive negotiations involving Iran, the United States, and regional stakeholders, with Qatar playing a central role in mediation efforts. Officials emphasized that Doha remains committed to supporting diplomacy and advancing stability across the region.
